Homecoming

Sometimes, it's okay not to meet new people... and to not revisit old places.

2017: New Year, New Ethic

Hi there!

I know it's been more than a year that I've posted, and many posts on here that have been reduced to "Coming soon."

My bad.

But with a new year comes new mind to invigorate my original blog with some fresh blood and also finish what I started more than a year ago. Of course, some posts will just be abandoned, but I hope to complete those that I can and give explanations for those that I can't.

Either way, coming soon will be finished posts that I left in 2015 and of course, photos to those I left image-less in 2014.

Procrastination so hard.

Anyways, here's to a new year, hopefully much better than 2016 was.

Ka-Boom Pride

You don't get more American than the Fourth of July and the celebrations that it brings.

The last two years, I've usually spent the Fourth at a house in Cedar Hill house-sitting for a friend. She moved away in early June back to Canada, so now I'm home for the first time for the Fourth in two years.

Suburbia: Cedar Hill - ROCT

In June 2014, I decided to come up a photojournal that took me to various parts of my home, the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The size of Connecticut and Rhode Island and home to 6.5 million people, there's a lot between the highways and skyscrapers.

Dallas County, my homestead and the most urban county in this part of Texas. I'm spending the next three weeks here in Cedar Hill, house-sitting for a teacher friend while she visits relatives in Canada. Makes me feel like a "real" adult, a provides a taste of self-sufficiency. While I'm here, I decided to take a look around, now that I can drive.

North2Denton PhotoJournal - Part Four

7PM. Ninety-five degrees.

The A-Train arrived at Carrollton just before 6:55PM. The sun was lower in the sky now; you could venture outdoors without burning to death. The light rail station was busy with people getting off the A-Train, waiting for the northbound Green Line train to come up from downtown.
