Nice Versa, Mr. Rodriguez

I have a new job. Babysitter. Depending on who you are, you either like it, hate it, or are neutral about it. Depending if I slept the night before, I can be either of the three.
My job starts at 5:10 AM and ends anywhere between 3:15 PM or 4:30 PM. Long hours, I know. At those calculations, I work 60 hours a week! I do it because I love the little bugger-- and because it's $60 a week. Time for porn!*

Any who, I live a block or two away from Mr. Rodriguez. When I get picked up in the morning, we always pass by his house. On this particular morning, there was just a Nissan Versa parked in the driveway. There's usually one or two trucks out there, but this morning, just the little white car. I wondered where all the cars had gone and even if he was home. I mean, it was 4:50 AM, and the lights were out, but I dunno.

I thought about it all day. It just stuck to me like honey. That lonely little white car, half-orange, half-black, sitting in front of a dark house. Dark night, indeed.
